Description
Monivent develops, manufactures and sells medical devices in order to improve the emergency care provided to newborns in need of respiratory support at birth. Monivent has developed a unique and patented solution that measures the airflow to the child directly in the face mask via a sensor module while data is sent wirelessly to an external monitor. The face mask together with the sensor module is connected to existing equipment that generates airflow to the child. Monivent has a business model that is based on initial sales of the system as a whole, which includes monitor and software, charging station and sensor modules.
