Vitec is a software company within Vertical Market Software in the Nordic region. Vitec develop and deliver standard niche software. Vitecs business model is based on recurring revenue and the company grows through acquisitions of mature software companies. The company is active in several niches such as pharmacy, auto, construction & real estate, energy, finance and education. Vitec was established in 1985 as a spin-off company from the University of Umeå. Today the Group has 800 employees and had 2019 a turnover of SEK 1,156 million. The head office and major part of the Group management team is still located in Umeå. Vitec is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
