Tamtron is an international supplier of industrial scales and weighing information. The company supplies scales to more than 60 countries, to all major industries, such as construction and mining, wood processing, waste management and recycling, port industry, transport and logistics, and process and manufacturing industries. Tamtron supplies mobile and heavy equipment scales and associated software for weighing data. In addition, the company offers life-cycle services, which include scale verification services, service and maintenance, and spare parts services. The advanced weighing data software developed by Tamtron's head office is located in Tampere, where most of the product assembly and testing is also done. In addition, Tamtron has subsidiaries in eight European countries.
