Description
Philly Shipyard is a Norwegian ship developer whose vessels are intended for use in the Jones Act market. According to established rules, all vessels transporting goods within the United States must be owned, built and operated by American citizens. The company primarily specializes in the development of various merchant vessels. The company was previously known as Aker Philadelphia Shipyard and was founded in 1997.
