Description
Renewcell provides an alternative raw material for textile production that replaces resource-intensive materials such as cotton or oil-based materials such as polyester. The company is, as far as is known, the first in the world to be able to commercially offer a so-called dissolving pulp for textile production made from 100 percent recycled cotton textile and has thus succeeded in closing the cycle for cellulose-based textiles (cotton or viscose) in an otherwise linear value chain. The commercialization of Renewcell's pulp product Circulose is ongoing and global clothing brands such as H&M and Levi's have already launched clothing produced in textiles from Circulose.
