Description
Biofrigas offers a turnkey upgrade plant for the production of liquefied biogas. Liquid biogas (LBG) can e.g. be used as vehicle and ship fuel but also for the production of vehicle gas. The small scale of the plant makes it suitable for agriculture, small treatment plants and the food industry. The company's facility offers small-scale production of liquid biogas. During the upgrade process and the cooling phase, the gas condenses to liquid and shrinks by at least 600 times, making the fuel easier and more cost-effective to handle, store and distribute. The result is a fuel that can be used to advantage to drive heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses, tractors, trains and ships. It is as efficient as liquefied natural gas (LNG), with the important difference that the biogas is in principle completely fossil-free and climate-neutral. Biofriga's plant collects methane gas from the organic waste and therefore reduces its negative impact on the climate.
