MindArk is a Swedish digital entertainment company that has developed and operated Entropia Universe since 2003. MindArk PE AB) is the parent company of a group with three subsidiaries. All operations take place in MindArk PE AB and there are no operations in the subsidiaries. According to the Company, Entropia Universe is the world's first MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) with a virtual economy based on real money. MMORPG is a genre of computer games in which a large number of players interact with each other in a virtual world. MindArk has operated and developed Entropia Universe for 20 years and the Company is today well equipped to maintain and develop its market position in order to advance forward and take additional market shares in a market in strong growth.
